White Label

When it comes to deciding whether splurge or save, it can be a tough decision. Do you really want to spend an entire month’s salary on that jacket? Are you willing to sacrifice looking (dare I say)…cheap? Now you don’t have to decide.

A few months ago I shared with you some of my favorite affordable sites to shop on. And my number one choice has always been ASOS. They just seem to have the best selection for this category, and you won’t necessarily run into someone on the street in the same dress (which is more likely if you shop at places like Zara or H&M). When it comes to affordable fashion, many times they take it too far with a trend (for example, if studs are in, EVERYTHING is studded and if cut-outs are in, it’s difficult to find anything that uses a decent amount of fabric) but with ASOS White, you really can have it all (without falling into #trendsontrendsontrends).

I was browsing the site before Lollapalooza, deciding what I wanted to wear, and the things I seemed to gravitate towards were by ASOS White (and not regular ASOS, which is what I was used to). I couldn’t find much more information about the label but when you go to the brand’s home page, it’s described as “effortless” and “understanded.” It’s basically like The Row meets Acne meets Celine…but almost all under $300 (there’s two leather pieces that fall above that price range, but still quite reasonable for real leather…and I would also highly recommend wearing them at the same time).

So if you’re looking for versatile pieces that look expensive (but totally aren’t) and are going for that effortless chic look we all want to achieve so badly, then look no further

What do you think of ASOS White? Any favorite pieces from the collection?
