Australian fashion designer Josh Goot is not only awesome…but one of the most up-and-coming Aussie designers to start hitting the states. You may recognize the name from his sale on Moda Operandi (also mentioned here) but if you’re not familiar with the designer, here’s some fun facts about why I’m obsessed with him…and why you should be too.
Josh Goot is all about minimalist silhouettes with vibrant colors and prints. And when color is involved in some way, shape or form…I’m in. Josh loves color, so I love Josh.
Josh Goot established his brand in 2004, debuted his first collection in 2005 and won the Tiffany & Co. Young Designer of the Year Award that same year. Pretty impressive, huh? Just last year he closed Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, even though he was showing mainly in New York, and was considered the “stand out show” of all the collections. Way to go Goot!
