Ah, the gift set. That thing everyone gives as an easy way out but the receiver is always stuck with maybe one thing they really like and all this other stuff they don’t need at all (or the entire set just sucks and in that case, it’s pretty much a waste of a gift…although we like to think it’s the thought that counts).
So today I wanted to take on the challenge of the gift set (whether it be in the beauty department, loungewear, and even some accessories) and find actually cool sets that you’ll be proud to give and your friends/family will love to receive.
When I think of a gift set I think of the fragrance ones…which to be honest, I never totally understood. Why would I want like 3 sizes of these same perfume plus a lotion and a body wash in that same scent? I love my fragrances, don’t get me wrong, but I have zero desire to smell like Ralph Lauren Romance or anything made by any celebrity (especially Taylor Swift) for the next year. However, I like the idea of gift sets because you can give multiple gifts at once so it seems like you’re being extra generous when you really just had to buy one thing with no extra effort. It’s a win-win for everyone.
So basically what I’m trying to say is…there are cool gift sets out there. They exist! I found 21 sets in a variety of categories and for both men and women so your gift giving this year just got that much easier. You’re welcome.
