Online publication (and soon to be print magazine) Majestic Disorder is looking for a freelance advertising sales executive to start immediately. This is a pretty cool opportunity and definitely one not to miss!
Launched in 2012, majestic disorder is a thought-provoking London based arts, culture and style online publication about to transition into an internationally sold quarterly print magazine.
They’re looking for a dynamic and strategic creative individual with phenomenal communication skills who can multitask as they have their fingers on the pulse of the latest movers and shakers across various industries.
This is a freelance commission based position for accounts within the magazine. To be considered for this role you must have relevant sales and advertising experience with an extensive knowledge of the creative, fashion and editorial industries.
This position is open to those London or US based – preferably in NYC, LA or Chicago. You must be able to work on multiple time zones and have a clear understanding of the company’s ethos and identity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate the vision, direction and needs of the property
- Create advertising and marketing plans
- Coordinating with local, national and international clients
- Conducting meetings and briefs
- Pitching to relevant clients
- Manage strategic sales plans and adhere to deadlines, budgets and processes
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Acting as a brand ambassador while selling the product to potential clients
- Communicate with majestic disorder editorial team
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a comparable position
- Charisma to maintain high level of service and standards consistently
- Experience with lifestyle clients especially travel and fashion (should ideally have exposure to both established luxury clients and start-up creative clients)
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English language
- Time management and organizational efficiency
- Excellent networking and sales skills
- Flexible schedule
- Bachelor’s Degree
