Episode 4: CFDA Awards, Emojis & Beauty Chat With Kristen Noel Crawley

Welcome to another episode of Fashion Friends! This week I’m chatting with jewelry designer Kristen Noel Crawley about the CFDA Awards, emojis (there’s a reason behind this…promise) and all things beauty (once you see her, you’ll know why!)

Kristen is not only a super talented jewelry designer (her line KDIA is carried at Colette and Browns to name a few) but she also owns Chicago-based RSVP Gallery with her husband Don (who is responsible for those amazing python trim hats). This girl has style like no other so of course I want to have her as a guest on Fashion Friends.

First up, you’ll get to see how well (or not so well) we did on predicting who will win in each category for the CFDA Awards (you can check out the nominees here and the winners here). Then we’ll move on to a story Harper’s Bazaar recently published. Next up — emoji chat. And here’s why.

Yes, that’s Kristen’s jewelry. I mean… 😍.

Then we’ll finish things off by chatting about all things beauty (which you can tell from her Instagram, Kristen is an expert on the topic). Bonus? You can shop some of Kristen’s favorite beauty buys (along with her jewelry!) at the end of this post.

  1. I commute over an hour to work. When Serial ended, I ran out of material to listen to. Thank goodness I discovered your podcast! I can talk about and listen to red carpet commentary all day every day. Please keep them coming. If you ever need a reader to guest, I volunteer! Question: will you ever do a contest to win a shopping experience with you? That would be awesome!

P.S. I have a suggestion for a future segment. I would love to hear your opinion on how gifting/sponsorships has affected bloggers’ personal style.
