Billboard Music Awards
Never have I ever…written about the Billboard Music Awards (until today). I always find it ironic that music and fashion go hand-in-hand yet the music awards shows bring out the tackiest of the red carpet (even the Grammys…which is the “classiest” of said awards shows). HOWEVER, so much went down at the Billboard Music Awards last night (well two major things I know about…as I didn’t actually watch…the weather was too nice to be inside!) that I couldn’t help myself but write about the red carpet today. Celebrity style, a big announcement plus the most highly anticipated music video of 2015…let’s do it.

But It’s On Sale…
How is it that “but it’s on sale” can justify almost anything? Those Alaia boots are half off (meaning they’re still $1,100 and you haven’t paid rent this month) or those Miu Miu glitter booties from 3 years ago were “a great investment.” I’ve heard it all, I’ve said it all myself but it’s time to get realistic about what to buy and what not to buy when it comes to sales. And it’s perfect timing because one of my favorite sales just started…

It’s Time For Spring…
Spring ad campaigns that is. Ironically it’s -14 degrees here in Chicago right now so looking at pretty Spring clothes is just what the doctor ordered.
So, out with the old. In with the new. Let’s see what happens when models + photographers + expensive clothing get together for the SS14 ad campaigns.

When you come across one of the best dressed guys in Chicago and he just so happens to live by the motto “chivalry is not dead,” you can’t help but be intrigued by this person, right?
