Sale season is upon us! This time of year is always very exciting yet it can be totally overwhelming. Every store and website has major discounts happening right now, so where are we even supposed to start? Well I’ve always wanted to say this…it’s CHICITYFASHION TO THE RESCUE.
It’s getting to be about that time again — summer vacation season. Although I think us Chicagoans might work a little differently (as we don’t suffer all winter just to LEAVE for the summer), I’m sure we’ll all get away at least for the weekend at some point over the next three months. So with that said, I got a few tips from this UNICEF lunch I attended yesterday at my safe place (AKA Barneys New York, Chicago) that I think we should discuss. Ready, [jet]set, GO!
Although I go to several events a week, it’s very rare when the dress code calls for cocktail, or even worse…black tie. For these reasons, I have very few “fancy” dresses in my closet, but the same three or four are always on call when it comes to these special occasions. After having two of these events last week (and Harper’s Bazaar practically reading my mind), this seemed like the perfect opportunity to get a little fancy and share some key tips to black tie dressing.
