I’ve had a very interesting relationship with LA over the last ten or so years — it used to be my favorite place in the world, but when I got a little older (and traveled to more places) I started to think about it much differently. After a trip last week, though, I’m starting to see the City of Angels (and Palm Tree Instagrams) in a whole new light…and not just because the lighting is always really good.
Do you ever fall in love with a boutique during your travels, only to find out they don’t have an e-commerce site? And you won’t be able to shop their amazing fashions, unless you hop on a plane again. Well there’s a website that solves [almost] all of those problems. It’s so [far] fetch, if you ask Gretchen.
If you’ve ever been to Miami, you know it’s a city of a lot of things — European and Latin influence, a big art scene (hello Art Basel!), The Webster…and rhinestone jean pockets. This is something I just figured out for myself after traveling there for the first time this last week. So now that we have this new travel section here on CCF, let’s welcome ourselves to Miami (although as of last night, it’s more like “welcome to the movie Frozen“).
I admit, Chicago is no New York. We are a city that actually sometimes sleeps, our pizza clearly isn’t everyone’s favorite and we don’t have a cool boutique on every corner. With that said, I love sleep, I prefer Neapolitan style pizza and we just had four awesome new stores open this month. Care to find out who has graced this fine city with their presence?
