Oh, the maxi dress. One of those things that never seems to go out of style yet is a pain in the ass to wear. You don’t want to go too boho with flat sandals, you might look like you’re wearing a gown if paired with heels…so how the hell do you wear these things? I decided I was going to figure it out for myself.
If you were wondering what Kate Moss for Topshop looks like NOT on Kate Moss, then today’s your lucky day (but not mine…because I’m not Kate Moss).
Every season, I come across a random trend or two that always surprises me, yet is comforting because it’s reassurance that fashion is indeed fun (i.e. owls and Star Wars). I hope we have some Little Mermaid / Red Lobster fans in the house (which may even be one in the same) because I sea a new trend surfacing…
It seems like designers are no longer taking things too seriously. And I have to say…it’s about damn time. The Fall 2014 runways were full of humor and it’s official — this might be my favorite trend ever. Of course you’ll never find SpongeBob accessories at Chloe or Rick Owens, but it’s nice to get some funny fashion in our lives.
‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the
house château. Not a creature was stirring, not even a [Marc Jacobs Mickey] mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimney flat screen TV with care. In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there [with Proenza in hand].
And then all this stuff happens, you know how it goes. I won’t bore you with the details, but I will talk about clothes. These festive finds will leave you feeling cheery and bright. Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night! (but really…the day’s just getting started)
