Chicago Fashion Unfocused

When it comes to our fashion scene in Chicago, it’s really been more about the community rather than the city supporting it (at least since I’ve been around, circa 2010). And that was made official when WWD recently reported that Chicago is pulling all fashion funding, including our version of fashion week — Fashion Focus. Surprised? Mad? Sad? DGAF? You let it out honey…put it in the book blog.

Chi City’s Most Stylish: Aaron Comes

Earlier this year I shared with you in my first Chi City’s Most Stylish post that I never make New Years resolutions because I know I won’t keep them. BUT I did for the first time in 2013 and actually kept it — that’s why I’ve featured 12 of the best dressed people in Chicago over this past year.

As we say SEE YA to 2013, I’ll leave you with the very last (unless I change my mind for 2013) Chi City’s Most Stylish.

Chi City’s Most Stylish: Courtney Cunniff

I’m just going to be short and sweet with this introduction, this month’s Chi City’s Most Stylish is basically the Anna Dello Russo of Chicago (except a hell of a lot younger and instead of working for a magazine, she works at the best store in the entire city).

Open For Business

I admit, Chicago is no New York. We are a city that actually sometimes sleeps, our pizza clearly isn’t everyone’s favorite and we don’t have a cool boutique on every corner. With that said, I love sleep, I prefer Neapolitan style pizza and we just had four awesome new stores open this month. Care to find out who has graced this fine city with their presence?
