I’d like to thank
the Academy everyone’s stylists for not disappointing last night. Although I wasn’t absolutely freaking out over anyone’s look, I didn’t totally hate anyone’s look either…and that’s quite the rare occasion.
As per usual, we saw a lot of embellishments, neutrals, embellished neutrals and just for fun a few pastels. As well as Jennifer Lawrence falling…yet again.

Who said two was better than one? Because when it comes to earrings, I beg to differ. Lately, I’ve been living the single life…single earrings that is.
I kind of hate the play on words with haute and hot, but considering couture week is coming to a close…I just had to.
Besides sneakers and elbow pads at Chanel, let’s see what went down at the Spring 2014 couture shows.
We’ve had some major hits so far on this Golden Globes red carpet. Like Lizzy Caplan in Pucci and Lupita Nyong’o in Ralph Lauren to name a few. As well as some disasters like Julia Roberts (you can’t really beat that for worst dressed). And now onto the final installment of this year’s Golden Globes red carpet, including my third and last best dressed pick for the evening.
Ah, the gift set. That thing everyone gives as an easy way out but the receiver is always stuck with maybe one thing they really like and all this other stuff they don’t need at all (or the entire set just sucks and in that case, it’s pretty much a waste of a gift…although we like to think it’s the thought that counts).
So today I wanted to take on the challenge of the gift set (whether it be in the beauty department, loungewear, and even some accessories) and find actually cool sets that you’ll be proud to give and your friends/family will love to receive.
