In the last couple of weeks, I’ve gotten some emails and tweets about gift ideas for someone who happens to like all of the same things I do (well let me tell you up front, that your friends have good taste). So I thought I’d give you a look at my personal wish list this year (although this is ever-growing, especially because there’s no way I’ll receive all of these things in one holiday season).
But really all I’m asking for this Christmas is…
I never really understood the point of waiting in a line very late at night/way too early in the morning, in the freezing cold to get something discounted at even more of a discount…while possibly getting in a physical fight with some fellow shoppers. Why wait in line when you can shop from the comfort of your own home? Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday…it’s all the same really.
So if you’re like me and don’t do crowds but still appreciate a great deal, here’s a look at my favorite sales going on today/this weekend.
Even though people have been talking holiday for the last month or so (which is crazy), I think it’s a much better time to discuss gifts now that it’s November 1. Still early, but a little more acceptable. And in exactly one month from today you’ll be able to shop the Neiman Marcus x Target holiday collection…which I’m pretty excited for. Photos of the full collection are now out, along with the sketches from each designer to show their inspiration.
As a member of the Chicago Blogger Network, I’m very excited about the very first CBN Holiday Gift Guide. Over 30 bloggers chose one stylish item for the guide and I am a little embarrassed/not surprised to say….
Mine was by far the most expensive choice. But let’s be honest…who would’t want the Christopher Kane Aqua Clutch? And if you know me at all, you know that this isn’t the blog to read if you’re looking for budget-friendly fashions. It’s just not my forte!

I always appreciate a blog that writes about things I like (clothes) and does it in witty, sarcastic and all around funny way. And who does that best? Possessionista of course. So when she asked me about the one gift I want to get this Christmas and the one I’d like to give, I was excited to share…but even more excited to see how it would come together.
