The Oscars are always bittersweet, as it’s the most anticipated red carpet event of the year (besides the Met Ball, of course) but it also marks the end of red carpet season. This particular event has been less than exciting in recent years, but whether you liked the dresses or not, we saw more risks than usual last night…and guess what? I DIG IT. So let’s talk about it!
I rarely get in more than one WWW post while traveling but with all of the amazing photo ops LA has to offer, how could I resist? (plus, having a photog friend who lives there doesn’t hurt the situation) So I’m throwing it back this Thursday to last week…when I was in shorts and just not giving a damn.
Ah, the SAG Awards. It’s like the forgotten middle child between the Golden Globes and the Oscars…but that doesn’t mean the red carpet shouldn’t get some love. There’s actually been quite a few fabulous looks at the SAG Awards from years past (like when Anna Gunn proved that fit really matters and killed it in the accessories department with that Edie Parker clutch, for example) as well as ones we wish we forgot (re: crop topping while pregnant). So let’s see what went down on that red carpet last night…
