I was long over due for a visit to the Dana Rebecca showroom so I stopped in yesterday to check out some of their new additions. As always, I had a great time trying on well…everything.

One of my favorite jewelry designers Alexis Bittar is having a Fall 2012 preview party at the Bucktown location this Saturday, July 14. From 2-4pm guests are invited to sip champagne (just what everyone needs on a Saturday afternoon), enjoy treats and be the first to check out the latest from Alexis Bittar’s Fall ’12 collection.

Earlier last month, I developed a short-term addiction by ordering everything on The Cut’s Best Bets. The first to kick off the series of purchases was the Best Bet: Iwona Ludyga Skull Ring post.

I have a ton of oversized rings and I’ve been looking for alternative options so I can wear multiple rings on each hand. This seemed too cool of a piece to pass up!
I love how it’s small and dainty but still has a bit of edge with that tiny skull. With the options of rose gold or yellow gold and black diamonds or white diamonds for the eyes, I decided to go with yellow gold (because I’ve been buying way too much rose gold lately) and black diamonds. What do you think?
Ever since I saw Taylor Jacobson wear the Jennifer Zeuner sideways cross necklace on The Rachel Zoe Project (when she still worked there of course), I’ve been intrigued by this jewelry line. And thanks to YaYa Publicity (the awesome company that represents Jennifer Zeuner), I finally have a chance to own one her gorgeous necklaces…and now so do you!

I’ve been beyond obsessed with rose gold lately so I thought the rose gold wishbone necklace would be perfect! Want to get one of your own? Here’s how…

I’ll be choosing a winner on Monday, April 16 at 6pm ct. Good luck!
There’s nothing more meaningful than a personalized gift, and even better when it’s one made by a local designer! If you’re looking for the perfect Mother’s Day gift…look no further.
On April 28, Jules Schwanbeck of Jules jewelry will be at Mark Shale helping guests customize her very popular initial ID necklaces. Customers can select not only the lettering, but also the shape, style of chain, and metal. In addition to personalizing accessories by Jules, those who spend $300 or more at Mark Shale will receive a gift with purchase!

Because of the endless number of combinations, each necklace is made to order and customers can expect to receive their custom jewelry within 2-3 weeks (in time for Mother’s Day, of course). Jules will be available all day for meet and greet, product knowledge, and ordering assistance. She’s super awesome and her jewelry is amazing so I definitely recommend checking it out!
