Some of the latest trends seem to be all about the neckline — contrast collars, lace-up tops / dresses, bow blouses (thanks Gucci), and chokers…just to name a few. Now we have another to add to that list — and it goes NECK AND NECK with those other trends.
Besides the insane holiday marketing that is the 55 days of Christmas, I told myself I wouldn’t be one of those “holiday pushers” who throws a 300 item gift guide in your face as you put your Halloween costume away. With the day we give thanks and stuff ourselves like the birds we eat (which may not apply to those who opt for a Tofurky) being exactly one week from today, I thought it was about time for my first official holiday post of the season. Those parties are approaching…and you don’t want to be another basic bitch in sparkly dress now do you?
Regardless of your best and worst dressed picks on the red carpet last night, you have to appreciate the fact that there were many risks taken. Not saying they all were pulled off (re: most of the OITNB cast) BUT it was an attempt that did not go unnoticed. So let’s see who wore what at the 2015 Emmys…shall we?
With temps dropping by the day (has it not been the best Fall ever this last week?) I figured I have to get in one more summer look before retiring all lightweight clothing for the year. And what gets the job done better than a white printed jumpsuit?
