Throwback Thursday: Front Row At Fashion Week

With New York Fashion Week coming to a close but fashion month nowhere near the end, this seemed like the perfect opportunity for a fashion week themed Throwback Thursday. But even better than that, we’re going to take a look at the front row specifically — where it started, where it went, and where it is now. Let’s just say things get interesting circa 2002.

What Why Where: Weird Pants

I feel like the last 3 of my What Why Where posts have been such a tease. I hope you realize that I don’t take these pictures the day I post them. They’re usually taken earlier in the week (when it tends to be warmer for some reason, which is a conclusion I’ve come to recently) and then by Friday (when I typically post) it’s freezing. So, I apologize for blogging schedules and unpredictable Chicago weather.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way…

Scatter My Ashes At Bergdorf’s, Please

If you’ve ever been inside Bergdorf Goodman, I’m sure you know that it’s more than just a store…it’s a magical place (especially the second floor…I can’t contain myself when I’m around all those shoes). And clearly, I’m not the only one feels this way.

The Best of the Oscars Red Carpet

Feeling inspired by the New York Times‘s Red Carpet Project, I wanted to make my own curated red carpet list with what I think to be the greatest Oscars red carpet looks in the last 15 years. Granted anything pre-2006 was quite difficult to choose (it just wasn’t a good time for fashion) but I found a few timeless looks that would make sense to see on the red carpet today. Because I just can’t wait to get my judging on this weekend, I’m starting…NOW.
