Not Your Typical Valentine’s Day

I don’t know about you but I’ve never been all that much into Valentine’s Day. Coming from someone who’s very much taken, I really have nothing to be bitter about except for the fact that I’m forced to wear pink and red (neither color I’m a huge fan of) and eat more chocolate than I already do.

If you feel the same way (regardless of your relationship status on FB) here’s a blog post with no hearts, no pink (okay maybe a little pink) and zero flowers. Not your typical Valentine’s Day…

What Why Where: Around Town

I briefly mentioned last week that I have a ton of outtakes from my 1 Girl 4 Looks story on Refinery29 so after giving you a little tour of my office, I thought I’d share with you the rest of the NEVER BEFORE SEEN, EXCLUSIVE photos. I love putting those words together. I feel like E! News.

So today’s more of a 1 girl, 3 looks kind of story…

Fit For A Royal

With the entire world [im]patiently waiting for Kate Middleton to give birth, it leaves us common folk with many questions to be answered — What will Kate’s post-baby style be like? The same, more, or less L.K. Bennett? What will the baby wear? Who will be the first designer to dress the royal baby? Will the royal gynecologist get his or her own reality TV show? Do royals actually give birth or does the baby magically appear in a cashmere blanket woven with 24k gold?

But today I’m not answering any of these questions…however, if you’re interested in royal things, luxury things, or both then I suggest you keep reading.

Stars & Stripes

Because today is that one time of year where you can wear a ton of red, white and blue, as well as stars and stripes, eat as many hotdogs and hamburgers as you want…and no one will judge you for it (or at least I won’t). I figure by now you’ve had enough of the “what to wear to a 4th of July BBQ” posts so I’m just going to talk about a few trends that happen to be very appropriate for today’s festivities — stars and stripes.
