Although I decided to skip out this year, it doesn’t mean that we can’t still discuss everyone’s 4 favorite words, New York Fashion Week. With the Spring 2014 collections in full swing, it will make you forget that you haven’t even gotten to wear your Fall clothes yet. Because we’re only about half way through NYFW, I thought it was time to discuss some noteworthy looks from SS14…so far (and the lessons you can learn from them).
You know I love a good t-shirt and I live my life in leather, so when the two become one I just throw my hands in the air and wave them like I just don’t care.

With fashion month starting this week, I thought it was appropriate to discuss the one thing that brings all fashion week street style together — statement pieces. It’s rare to come across an image from this fashion-filled month that doesn’t have at least one stand out item so why not talk about it?

After talking about my issues with skirts in yesterday’s post, I decided to use that as inspiration for today’s discussion. If you feel like a lady who lunches or a Gossip Girl character (from the early seasons, of course) when you put on a skirt then this post is for you.
