There’s a trend I’ve been noticing in the shoe-niverse lately and unlike Birkenstocks or sneaker wedges, it’s something that isn’t so obviously trendy where you wouldn’t have to say in 5 years from now, “oh those are so 2013.”

Red Carpet Fashion: 2013 AMAs
Any awards show whose winners are based on the general public’s votes (as opposed to an academy of some sort) is bound to be terrible. But if a red carpet is involved, I suck it up because it’s not every day I get to judge one of these things. Every year around this time, I have to make that decision — to gift guide or not to gift guide? I myself struggle with finding the perfect gift so does that mean I have no authority to put these things together or I’m the perfect person to do so?
