Elizabeth and James Spring 2013

Ever since Full House I have been a huge Olsen fan (and I owned just about every single one of their videos…on VHS). To look back at where they were and what they’re doing now just blows me away. Not many people know how to make a $34,000 backpack and design wearable, affordable clothes at the same time. That’s why I consider Mary-Kate and Ashley the design geniuses of our generation. And it was an honor to attend the Elizabeth and James presentation Wednesday afternoon.

So instead of me reminiscing about the 90s and how much I love the Olsens, let’s talk about Elizabeth and James Spring 2013.

A Look At Glamour’s Full On Fashion September Issue

A couple months ago, I posted about Glamour‘s initiative to promote the making of their September issue. Now it’s all coming to life, because their first ever full on fashion September issue (fashion on EVERY page) will be available on August 7. If you can’t wait that long , don’t worry…because I’m giving you a sneak peek inside the issue with cover star and debut guest editor Victoria Beckham.

Red Carpet Fashion: 2012 CFDA Awards (Part 1)

Last night was the annual CFDA Awards. With the Met Ball being like the Oscars of fashion, I’d say this is more like the SAG Awards or the Golden Globes…it’s a big deal but nothing beats the Academy, ya know?

Unfortunately, I was not all that impressed with the looks this year. With a crowd of designers, models and muses I expected way more from these people. It is the Council of FASHION Designers of America…so step up the fashion, please.
