Although I love fashion (I wouldn’t have this website if I didn’t) I don’t like to spend a ton of time getting dressed. I’m always looking for easy outfits that are both comfortable and stylish, so when I start gravitating towards something that’s the perfect balance of both, I can’t help but share the news. I promise I won’t draw this out…but we do need to talk about all things drawstring.
Is Orange Really The New Black?
With Orange Is The New Black season two released today on Netflix, I’m curious to see if this will be the largest girls-night-in, in the history of girls-nights-in. So if you’re taking the day off to binge watch, are already on summer hours or just want to read another fantastic post on ChiCityFashion, here it goes.
If orange really is the new black, then let’s discuss how to wear orange. It’s not exactly the easiest color to pull off, but I’m going to make it easy as pie (but probably not as delicious). And if you don’t know how to spell orange, just ask Damian.
All Choked Up
I can’t even keep track of all the 90s revivals coming back — between overalls, crop tops, and fugly shoes you’d think it’s 1998 up in here. But thankfully designers have refined these trends (not so much the fugly shoes though) and hopefully we won’t look back on 2014 ten years from now in disgust. However, there’s one 90s trend resurfacing you can rock in any decade without looking outdated — that, my friends, is the choker necklace.
Weekend Sales
I realize it’s quite common for a blogger to share the BEST Memorial Day sales out there so in that respect, I am no different. However, there are so many good discounts happening right now, I thought I’d make things a little easier for you. Wang, Kenzo, Carven, Marant, and Sandro (to name a few) — all under $250. Yeah, I’m doing it.
HAPPY FRIDAY!
What if…
On this kinda cold and dreary hump day, I thought it would be fun to play a little game called “what if?” And who knows…if you guys are into it, maybe I can make it a monthly thing.
So the first in this [potential] series — today I’m asking the question what if your wardrobe could only consist of five things?
