ChiCityFashion + Bendels Giveaway

If you haven’t heard the news, I’m hosting a holiday shopping party at Henri Bendel in Old Orchard tomorrow night (would love to see you there if you’re free). To celebrate this event, I’m giving away a sweet mystery box, filled with up to $500 of Bendels merchandise. And it’s only happening on Pinterest…

Burberry Chicago Opening Party

As I mentioned last week, there was a huge event celebrating the new Burberry Chicago store on Thursday. I think it’s safe to say it was THE party of the year. It’s no surprise Skoog Productions was behind all of this, and Melissa Skoog was just named one of Crain’s 40 Under 40 (congrats Melissa!)

Whether or not you’re a Nova Check fan, anyone who appreciates fashion, architecture, technology and/or art will love Burberry’s new Michigan Avenue space.

What Why Where: Playing With Menswear

I typically don’t incorporate that much menswear into my wardrobe. I do have some “menswear inspired” pieces, a few unisex t-shirts but that’s really it. Today, I’m wearing a piece of menswear in this What Why Where feature. Can you guess what it is?

Burberry Art of the Trench Chicago

I’m declaring today official Burberry day. And here’s why.

First and foremost it’s the Burberry store opening party tonight, and by the looks of the gorgeous invitation…it’s going to be a good one. To go along with the big event, Burberry launched their Art of the Trench project in Chicago, shot by photographers Amy Creyer and Tim Klein. This campaign was once photographed by Scott Schuman of the Sartorialist, so it’s very exciting to have something like this right here in Chicago. And as a side note, I wanted to thank Burberry for including me in such a great project. You rock…and so do your trenches.
