If you haven’t heard the news, it looks like Olivier Theyskens is out at Theory, so you know what that means? FRANTICALLY BUY ALL THE THEYSKENS YOU CAN BECAUSE IT COULD BE WORTH MILLIONS.
The Go-To
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably think my closet only consists of five things (seven, max) because I’m one of those people who tends to wear the same pieces over and over (and over) again. I don’t believe in the whole “I was photographed in it once so I can never wear it again” mentality (I’ve even called myself out for being a repeat offender right here on CCF) because if you own things you love (bonus if they’re comfortable) why not wear the hell out of ’em? So today, I thought I’d share with you my go-to items…and why I consider them to be summer must haves.
Man Up
With Father’s Day just around the corner, I thought it would be the perfect time to talk dads, how their fashion may or may not inspire us and some menswear inspired styles you can wear this spring/summer.
Technically, Fashion
Regina George’s feelings about the word “fetch” are similar to how I feel about wearable technology — stop trying to make it happen (sorry, Gretchen). How connected do we really need to be at all times? Is it necessary to have a piece of jewelry to tell us when someone liked our Instagram or glasses that take a picture for you instead of you reaching ALL the way into your bag, taking out your phone and just doing it yourself? Apparently, we do.
Drawn Out
Although I love fashion (I wouldn’t have this website if I didn’t) I don’t like to spend a ton of time getting dressed. I’m always looking for easy outfits that are both comfortable and stylish, so when I start gravitating towards something that’s the perfect balance of both, I can’t help but share the news. I promise I won’t draw this out…but we do need to talk about all things drawstring.
