If you’ve ever seen me out and about, trying to watch TV, read a menu behind the counter, or pretty much anything that requires seeing, it’s pretty clear my eyesight is sub-par. Most people ask “Why don’t you get contacts?” I respond, “I don’t want to touch my eyes.” Or “Why don’t you wear glasses?” My response, “Most frames bore me.”
Thankfully, I found these sweet cat eye glasses by Lookmatic and they are far from boring.
Lower Wacker can seem like a scary place…it’s dark, smells like pee and if you’re not paying attention you can easily get hit by a car. So I thought that would be the perfect backdrop for some Halloween-esque photos. And because I don’t do costumes, this bat sweater is the closest you’ll get.
With all this leather talk lately (along with the fact that it’s jumped from 75 degrees to just below 50 degrees overnight), I thought it was the perfect time to bring out my new coat…complete with leather sleeves. I’ve also been very into navy and black so when I saw this coat, you can only imagine how I felt about it.
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always had a fascination with space (fun fact)…but when I discovered I was claustrophobic and I probably wouldn’t be able to survive in a space suit for too long, my dreams of becoming an astronaut quickly died. Now what could this possibly have to do with today’s post?
When you read this title you’re probably thinking “is she going to dress up like the American flag?” The answer is no…but I am sporting some of those elements today. Just minus the red and blue, plus leather.
