Open For Business
I admit, Chicago is no New York. We are a city that actually sometimes sleeps, our pizza clearly isn’t everyone’s favorite and we don’t have a cool boutique on every corner. The Big Discussion: Designer Collaborations
My feelings towards designer collaborations (re: Isabel Marant x H&M, 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target, etc) have been very mixed. There’s been plenty of articles written either for or against them but after reading a certain story on Fashionista.com yesterday it inspired me to think of this debate in a whole new way. This is a big topic in the fashion industry right now so I’d love for you to weigh in.

Chicago Gets Tagged
When it comes to art, street art is what I prefer. There’s something about it that just intrigues me. Probably because it’s colorful, unconventional and just straight up awesome (I think this Pinterest board says it all). So the fact that I get to be a part of a super cool party that combines the best of art and style (and ChiCityFashion getting graffitied) is pretty exciting.
