As you may have noticed from past posts on ChiCityFashion, I seem to have a thing for weird t-shirts and sweaters. So it should be no surprise to you that I’m also into quirky clutches. How great is it to hold something that evokes the question, “What’s that you’re carrying? It can’t be…”
A Lesson in Geometry
When it comes to math, I am absolutely clueless. I use a calculator for things that most 5th graders could probably do in their head (so obviously I am NOT smarter than a 5th grader) but at least I can beat them when it comes to fashion knowledge. That must count for something.
One sector of math that didn’t completely kill my GPA in highschool was geometry. I like shapes on clothes, so I’m sure I could figure it out on paper. Granted I didn’t get an A+ (overachieving was so uncool at the time) but I passed…and that’s all that matters.
Outerwear Gets Oversized
When it comes to outerwear, the last thing you want to feel is constricted. It’s cold, you’re pale and wearing at least 2 other layers…how can you feel comfortable anything fitted? When it comes to getting dressed in general, I’m always down for anything oversized. And when it’s outerwear…I truly believe “the bigger the better.”
Are You Faux Real? (Part 3)
Now that you have the best real and faux leather jacket and leather pants options, I’m going to make sure your Fall wardrobe is even more leather-ed up. In the last installment of Are you Faux Real? I’m talking leather shirts. Long sleeve, short sleeve, colored, metallic, laser cut…there are so many options out there, but I chose the best ones of course.
Get To The Point
We’ve been seeing quite the influx of pointed toe heels when it comes to celebrity fashion and street style. The runwways, however, have been a different story. Prada gave us these clunkers for Fall ’12 and Celine is showing what I like to call foot-shoes for Spring ’13.
But don’t you think these are much more flattering than a chunky platform?
