Temperatures creeped up, we got to 75 on Monday (I don’t think I’ve ever seen that many happy people on a Monday) and now it looks like we’re going to stay in the 40s for quite a while. I rarely get in more than one WWW post while traveling but with all of the amazing photo ops LA has to offer, how could I resist? (plus, having a photog friend who lives there doesn’t hurt the situation) So I’m throwing it back this Thursday to last week…when I was in shorts and just not giving a damn.
From sunny 70s everyday and now back to good old Chicago winters, LA was real. Of course these photos were taken the one day it rained when I was there (and maybe one of five days it rains all year) but it fit that whole black / white / grey motif my outfit was going for anyway…and happened to match this fantastic street art. So here’s a day in DTLA (or Downtown LA, if you’re not familiar).
