I haven’t written about the fashion at the MTV Movie Awards for quite some time (not since Amanda Bynes was still [kind of] relevant) but after seeing some actually cool styles last night, I thought CCF could use a little red carpet love today. Of course it’s MTV, so there’s still plenty of tacky for us to discuss…(don’t you worry!)
When the red carpet comes to a close, I always immediately know who my best dressed picks are. This year, I really had to think about it (and not because there were so many amazing gowns last night). There were some interesting looks, though (better than boring!) so we’ll just have to see if I can figure out my favorites as I go along…
Is it just me or were the Grammys (actual show and red carpet) quite disappointing this year? This is the event where celebs go all out and have fun with their looks (because it’s really the only major occasion where they can get away with it) and I was surprised to see that lacking on the red carpet (I guess when Rihanna, Katy Perry, Madonna and Nicki Minaj don’t show…your red carpet will be lacking). Regardless…let’s see if I can find a best dressed pick in here somewhere.
What do you guys think of the SAG Awards red carpet so far? Now don’t think we’re finished just yet…we’ve only gotten though part one. Ready for part two?
The SAG Awards rarely have a super exciting red carpet. And I get it. You want to kick it off with a bang at the Golden Globes and of course nothing matters more than the Oscars…however, a good stylist should be able to get you through that in-between time, no? Thankfully, not everyone was a miss…but we do have a lot to talk about, so let’s get to it!
