SociaLifeChicago is a digital publication dedicated to the up and coming professional, specializing in lifestyle content on fashion, beauty, philanthropy, special events and more. They are looking for enthusiastic, extremely organized, hard-working interns who understand the digital space and want to gain first hand, real world experience in digital publishing.
INTERNSHIPS:
― Photography Intern: As a photography intern you will be tasked with assisting in producing compelling, high quality editorial and advertorial images for SociaLifeChicago.com, assisting with photo shoots and location scouting, and pre-production prepping. Must have experience with digital photography and Adobe Suite. The position is available year round. Candidates interested in fashion, events and product photography will be considered. This role requires someone who is engaging, resourceful and self-motivated.
― Editorial Intern: The ideal candidate should be a strong writer with an interest in the SociaLifeChicago brand. As an editorial intern you will be tasked with transcribing interviews, assisting editors on photo shoots, research and updating social calendar, photo and market research, creating unique content for social media channels, pitching ideas, plus opportunity to write short by-lined stories. The position requires a commitment of 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate is deadline driven and has an interest in fashion, beauty, home-design, menswear, career topics and a strong knowledge of social media. The position is available quarterly.
― Events & Brand Partnership Intern: You will be tasked with updating the media contact list, assisting in event logistics, project management for special projects & events, as well as collaborate and strategize on partnerships, cross-promotions and event opportunities. This role requires someone who is engaging, resourceful, extremely organized and self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and proven ability to be part of a team. The position is available quarterly.
― Marketing Intern: You will be tasked with assisting the team to execute marketing strategies, conduct industry research on sales and marketing efforts to increase SociaLifeChicago’s digital footprint, assist with production of marketing materials and strategize on digital efforts, brand partnerships and marketing opportunities. The position is available quarterly.
