Client Services Associate (eDrop-Off)

Job Title: Client Services Associate

Description: The Client Services Associate works with consignors, eBay and Shopify customers, and with all internal departments to ensure seamlessness in all transactions. In this role, you will use your industry expertise and your superb communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to tailor the eDrop-Off experience to every client and customer. The focus of this position is on Customer Relationship Management (CRM)—building and maintaining a base of loyal, satisfied clients and customers.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the primary point of contact for all parties interested in selling (consigning) or buying goods, or otherwise enlisting the services of eDrop-Off
  • Provides exemplary service which is friendly, personalized, and attentive
  • Curates merchandise which meets company standards for selling potential, condition, and authenticity
  • Sets client expectations by providing a complete, thorough, and accurate description of services
  • Ensures client expectations are met—scheduling and completing follow-up on any and all inquiries or open issues
  • Maintains attention to detail in all tasks including management of consignment checks, keeping detailed and accurate records (e.g. filling out Inventory and Consignment Agreements completely and accurately, and following appropriate protocol for filing), properly recording all client information and requests, and seeing through all tasks to completion
  • Appropriately diffuses difficult situations
  • Adapts to the demands of the day by strategically reprioritizing or reassigning tasks and projects
  • Practices a proven system for record-keeping and inquiry follow-up
  • Works with proficiency in all daily functions of Kyozou inventory management system.

Qualifications:

  • Top-notch oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with contemporary and luxury designers/brands
  • Ability to type quickly and accurately
  • Ability to manage multiple/varied tasks and projects daily (i.e. flexibility)
  • Multicultural sensitivity
  • Calming demeanor
  • Open availability, including Saturdays
  • Ability to handle questions with no/limited set protocol, and to handle questions that go beyond personal knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Experience in high-volume retail
  • College degree with communication-based focus
  • Interest in fashion
