Job Title: Shop Lead

You are an integral part of the shop leadership team and so you lead by example, encompassing the culture at all times. You love design. You value integrity. You don’t take yourself too seriously.
Responsibilities:
- Provides a world-class guest experience by connecting with each guest individually through conversation and real talk, ensuring every guest plans a return visit
- Builds authentic, lasting relationships with Shop guests
- Promotes the culture and authenticity of Kit and Ace, by becoming a Brand Ambassador and ensuring high levels of service and operation are the norm
- Proactively seeks out the connectors of the world, and encourages their involvement in Brand initiatives, to enhance the Kit and Ace’s creative network, facilitating a seamless connection to the Creative Class
- Intentionally proposes innovative Shop events and Brand initiatives, which can be used to promote and connect the Creative Class
- Coaches and develops Shop Specialists, by being a mentor and encouraging their participation in our culture
- Works with the Shop Director and Junior Shop Director to identify stand-out team members, encouraging and facilitating their progression within Kit and Ace, thereby creating a pipe-line of talent for our future growth
- Actively participates in recruitment by taking an ‘on duty’ approach and always being on the lookout for the best talent
- Delivers inspiring team training for new team members, taking time to ensure that new recruits understand our values, the Creative Class and the importance of providing an amazing guest experience
- Leads and motivates the team by encouraging a positive culture of integrity, authenticity and intentional communication
- Takes seamless ownership of the business in the absence of senior management, ensuring that the awesome service level is maintained and operations are executed in line with Kit and Ace’s standards
- Supports the Shop Director and Junior Shop Director with the execution of Shop operations
