Job Title: Showroom Assistant

Responsibilities: 

  • Service walk-in customers and clients
  • Visual merchandise as needed and ensure luxury presentation
  • Assist Showroom Manager
  • Prepare fitting rooms for customer and client appointments
  • Quality control — check merchandise for stains, damage post-try-on, hang / fold / steam garments, and return to the proper area of the sales floor
  • Learn the systems and procedures of the company to enhance personal selling efficiencies and support duties
  • Develop product knowledge by keeping up with trends, current and upcoming collections, shadow client fitting and design consultations, and main inventory and product systems
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards
  • E-commerce — pack and ship orders same day placed, ensure quality and inventory are noted
  • On-call customer service to existing clients
  • Pack shipments for sample pulls, clients, and on an as needed basis
  • Track shipments upon deployment — alert client of shipment, include tracking and delivery for both e-commerce and in-store sales

Requirements: 

  • Ability to take direction
  • Extremely time efficient and deadline-oriented
  • Previous retail experience required
  • Proactive ability to find solution and resolve issues independently
  • Personable with ability to manage client and industry relationships
  • Knowledge and interest in current fashion industry / environment
  • Maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm, with a commitment to the brand and the customer
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
