Cropped tees and cropped pants are no new news. But what happens when you put the two together? Well now I have the answer for you…
Although now that I think about it…this isn’t even supposed to be a cropped tee. We can thank the dryer and my lack of reading skills for that one.
WHAT (am I wearing):
Shirt: Off White c/o Virgil Abloh. Pants: Public School. Shoes: Balenciaga. Bag: Proenza Schouler. Sunglasses: Mykita x Margiela. Necklace: Jennifer Fisher. Earring: Alison Lou x The Webster.
WHY (am I wearing it):
It all started with the pants. I know. Not something you hear often. It usually begins with the new dress or even the new shoes…but for this one, it was all about the pants. I had quite the fun adventure at Barneys last week (that will be explained late next week…stay tuned) and part of that adventure was realizing how much Public School womenswear they had (which is where the cropped pants come into play). I love what Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow stand for (and I’m not the only who agrees, as they’ve been nominated for a CFDA Award quite a few times…and even won last year). They were mostly menswear for a while so I’m really pumped to see more of a selection of Public School for women. Okay so that’s where I’m at with the pants. Because they’re wide and not high-waisted, I had to choose a top carefully to get the right length. I don’t want to show too much stomach (exercising once a week doesn’t necessarily grant you access to show 8 inches of non existent abs) so this Off-White tee was the perfect choice. Now by going loose on loose (just how I like it) I had to pair this with heels as it would look frumpy otherwise (although it might still…you can let me know in the comments). And on that same Barneys excursion, these happened. So I thought I would just stick with the Barneys theme (doesn’t hurt the situation that they’re having a major sale right now). Adding a little color with the bag and the earring…and you got yourself a cropped on cropped look READY FOR ANYTHING (except hiking, walking long distances and anything remotely outdoorsy or athletic…or fancy).

I never of thought these could be possible until I found your blog. This is something I can definitely use for my
next travel!
