Shop To Benefit Hurricane Sandy Relief

If you have watched any TV, gotten on the Internet or spoken to anyone in the last week or so I’m sure you know how hard hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast. The extent of my current events knowledge rarely surpasses E! News but even I have been tuning into CNN and other news channels every day since.

I already donated my $10 to the Red Cross (which if you haven’t yet, please text REDCROSS to 90999…every dollar counts!) but after continuing to see how many people still need help, I thought I could do something more.

I decided to sell some items from my closet here on ChiCityFashion with 100% of the proceeds going to the Red Cross for hurricane relief. Every single penny will be donated, and with just these items we could raise $1,800. I can’t do this alone so I’m hoping you’ll love a piece from Chi City Closet while helping a family in need at the same time.

A few notes to keep in mind…

• Please know that I will not be accepting returns, as this is for charity.
• To give you a better idea on sizing, I am normally a US size 8 shoe, size 4 dress and 27 pants. All of the items listed here currently fit me.
• I only chose items that are in excellent condition. The only noticeable signs of wear are on the shoes, and even that is minimal.
• Additional photos are available upon request.
• I apologize for the sub-par quality of photos. I don’t have a photographer boyfriend like most bloggers (just a real estate boyfriend). I did my best to show the true fit and color of the garments both on and off the hanger.
