July Beauty Obsessions

I used to do beauty obsessions posts, then I kind of forgot about them/haven’t tried many new products that I’m absolutely in love with…but this month, that all changed. I tried a some new beauty products recently (covering the main categories: cosmetics, hair and skincare) that I love so much I couldn’t keep them to myself.

Here’s a look at my current beauty obsessions. Hope you’ll love them as much as I do!

Laura Mercier Mineral Pressed Powder

I’ve had the same powder compact in my bag longer than I’m willing to admit, so I finally decided to toss it and try something new. I went with the Laura Mercier Mineral Pressed Powder (with SPF15…a plus!) and I’m hooked. It’s water-resistent, oil-free, and is the perfect on-the-go compact for a quick touch up. My favorite part about this powder is that it gives you full coverage without being too heavy, plus it takes away shine without leaving your face too matte. The perfect balance!

Moroccanoil Body Intense Hydrating Treatment

I love using the standard Moroccanoil for my hair, so I was very excited when I found out they’re now making body products. This isn’t your ordinary lotion; it comes in more of a gel/oil type form. You only need a little bit and it’s super hydrating. I use it on my legs for moisture and to give them a nice glow for summer.

Redken Extreme Anti-Snap

Although I’m only 24, my hair just isn’t the same as it used to be. Discovering what a flat iron was sooner than most people didn’t exactly do wonders for my hair years later. When I started using Moroccanoil on my hair, it definitely helped. Then I started using it combined with the Redken Anti-Snap and it’s made an even  bigger difference. It’s a leave-in treatment that’s not only a heat protector but prevents breakage and split ends. My hair is finally starting to get back to normal (besides the grays of course…but that’s another story).
