For those who haven’t started their holiday shopping yet / started but still have a ways to go / really just have no idea where to start — THIS ONE IS FOR YOU.
This is the last of the gift guides for 2015, so if the first four didn’t do it for you…hopefully after you read this, your holiday shopping will be complete. There’s no particular theme for this guide, as you don’t have much time for a theme now do you? I guess if I had to choose it would be a “no-fail” gift guide (there’s some pretty great stuff on here…can’t imagine why someone wouldn’t like one of these spectacular presents). Just be sure to check the shipping options if you decide to make any purchases…you may just have to splurge on two [or next] day!
When it comes to any celebrity’s “what’s in my bag” or “current obsessions” feature, you can’t read one without coming across a Charlotte Tilbury product. And the one that seems to show up the most would be Charlotte’s Magic Cream. The name alone makes it seem like a one stop shop for perfect skin…and who doesn’t want a glowing complexion for Christmas this year?!
Another option for the beauty junkie (in this case, the hair snob) would be Balmain’s Hair Couture Brush & Haircare set. Although it may seem expensive for hair products, it’s probably the cheapest thing Balmain even makes. The set comes with a handmade brush with boar bristles, Argan Moisturizing Elixir and Silk Hair Perfume…basically everything you need to look like a Balmain model.
I know they’re pretty trendy but I still think the Anya Hindmarch stickers are super cute. There’s so many styles now that you can personalize your accessories with, and because some of them are a little out there (which I adore…but they’re not for everyone) the gold Victory sticker is the perfect stylish option that any girl will enjoy.
For home and kitchen, I’ve always wanted some Alessi in my kitchen. The pieces are super fun, a little quirky and I just can’t help but smile when I see them. One of my all time favorites are the corkscrews, specifically this limited edition style. It comes with a silk-screened brass attachable “mask” so it can double as a piece of decor while you’re not opening countless bottles of wine.
Candles are that gift to give when you really have run out of options…so if you’re going to go that route, make it extra special. Not only does this Kilian candle look super badass, it smells like Turkish coffee…and I don’t know about you but that’s exactly how I want my life to smell.
Perhaps the most over-the-top gift in today’s feature, find me someone who wouldn’t want a Lanvin cupcake snow globe for the holidays!
Wireless speakers have really come a long way. Many now can be used as an accent piece in your home, and the Stelle Audio Golden Pillar Wireless Speaker is no exception. When I listen to music, it’s typically on my laptop or while traveling (so on my phone with headphones)…I’m rarely in a situation where I would need speakers like this…but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t want them.
Some people have an extensive notes section on their iPhone or a ridiculous amount of text messages / emails sent to themselves as a reminder to pick up dry cleaning or call mom back. Then there’s those who prefer to write everything down…and for those people, there’s Smythson.
Anything monogrammed or initialed always seems more thoughtful that their non-personalized counterparts, and because it’s probably too late to get anything customized before Christmas…the Tai alphabet necklace will just have to suffice. I’m personally not a fan of the dangly letter charm so I find this to be a much cooler alternative.
Like I said, when in doubt…give a candle. And I can’t leave you hanging with just one awesome option, right? So here’s another — the Diptyque Sapin Scented Candle. Honestly, I haven’t actually smelled this one but if we’re judging strictly on appearance here (because let’s be honest…that’s what we all do anyway), I’m sure this is going to be a good one.
Besides candles, coffee table books are also a good go-to (especially when it comes to any sort of hostess gift). There are so many categories of coffee table books…but the Condé Nast Traveler Photographs: 25th Anniversary Collection is ideal for anyone who likes photography, fashion, travel…or just anything visually appealing.
Six varieties of tea plus an infuser…all held together with a leather strap? Any tea enthusiast who sips in style would appreciate the Dammann tea sampler set. For anyone who’s not a tea enthusiast, this is a damn good reason to become one.
Looking for a fun, easy and crazy affordable hostess gift or stocking stuffer? These Kate Aspen chalkboard coasters are just $3.99…and with that 20% off Bed Bath and Beyond coupon I know you have, these are basically free!
If the giftee is more of a coffee fan rather than a tea drinker, this Georg Jensen Coffee Press is the chicest thing you could give them. There’s nothing better than some freshly pressed brew…except when it’s pressed in this gorgeous vessel. You just can’t top that.
If you’re looking for a gift for someone like me (or Regina George) who is constantly on an all carb diet, then there is NO better gift than a baguette tray. And if you’re feeling extra generous…making this a two part gift would really be icing on the cake (or butter on the toast…whichever you prefer).
If you’re sick of giving candles and coffee table books at those holiday parties…how about extra festive chocolates? This Maggie Louise Merry Chocolate Charm Assortment is not only exciting to look at but I’m sure just as exciting to eat. You could also make this into a two part gift with a nice bottle of wine or champagne, but anyone with a sweet tooth (and is currently in the holiday spirit…or needs a little push to get there) will enjoy this.
Besides shoes, there’s one other thing I don’t think we can have enough of — and that’s ornaments (only if you have a tree, of course). I’m still working on my adult-life ornament collection and if you are too / know someone who is, Barneys has some adorable ornaments right now. Ever since Happy Feet, I’ve become extra obsessed with baby penguins…so obviously that’s why I chose this specific ornament.

Alright, friends…that’s all for the 2015 gift guide. Hope you found some great gifts (and I hope you receive the perfect presents as well). Best of luck with the rest of your holiday shopping. Until next year!
