It’s October. I wore a tank top and even took my jacket off the other day…AND IT WAS GLORIOUS. Chicago, it’s like I don’t even know you anymore…but I am loving this new side of you.

WHAT (am I wearing):

WHY (am I wearing it):
Remember when I told you about those personal style discoveries earlier this month? Here’s a perfect example of how it all came together. I had mentioned the shoes and the sunglasses (the shoes just look perfect with ripped jeans and the sunglasses look perfect with…well, everything). With the lower half already set, the top half can really be anything. Just depends on the weather and the vibe you’re going for. I’ve worn this Tim Coppens top a few times over the summer but never here on CCF…and with the warmer temps we’ve been having, I decided to go for it (with a leather topper just in case). Ideal for those super windy days — I love a piece that can actually put our insane wind to good use (ironically, these were shot on a rooftop and there was barely any wind that day…really, Chicago?!) So that’s all, friends — my idea of a spruced up leather and denim look. BOOM.
