After I heard about the Lolla Nail Bar happening this week at NoMI Spa, I decided to give #ManiMonday a break (because my manicure was scheduled for a Wednesday) and try something new.
Lollapalooza Essentials
Whenever I go to a music festival (especially one as large as Lollapalooza) I’m always sure to bring the essentials. Note: this isn’t a post on how you should dress and the different kinds of cut-off shorts you can wear…but more about what you should bring. I promise you’ll thank me later.
I’m that girl who at first people are like “why are you bringing extra toilet paper and a blanket to a music festival?” and later are like “can I use your toilet paper and sit on your towel?” So yeah. I come prepared. And you should too.
Currently Obsessing Over: Josh Goot
Australian fashion designer Josh Goot is not only awesome…but one of the most up-and-coming Aussie designers to start hitting the states. You may recognize the name from his sale on Moda Operandi (also mentioned here) but if you’re not familiar with the designer, here’s some fun facts about why I’m obsessed with him…and why you should be too.
Tees That Make You Look Twice
If there’s one wardrobe item I can’t live without, it’s a fun t-shirt. Whether it’s got a strange animal or an ironic quote, I just love a good tee that makes you look twice. Animal Royalty is the perfect example of this (and if you don’t know who they are, read up on the brand here) but here’s some other ideas to get your creative t-shirt juices flowing…plus the comments you may or may not receive from wearing them.

ICB by Prabal Gurung
It was announced in December of last year that Prabal Gurung will be the one to take over as chief designer for ICB (International Concept Brand) as they relaunch in the US. Basically this means that you can get the Prabal Gurung aesthetic that you love at a more affordable price point…awesome.
The debut Fall 2012 collection showed at fashion week in February and it’s now available for pre-order on Barneys.com! Here’s a look at some of my favorite styles…
