Swarovski Elements Giveaway & Sweepstakes

There is an awesome giveaway going on RIGHT NOW on the Swarovski Elements Facebook Page. Although it’s a giveaway completely separate from ChiCityFashion, it was just too good not to share with you!

Here’s how the giveaway works:

For the next five business days, until December 7th, Swarovski Elements will be giving away 50 Swarovski Crystallized jewelry pieces a day every day, totaling 250 dazzling items! Every morning at 8:00AM EST, a new image will be shown with jewelry pieces over-laid on top. Fans just have to tag an item on the image to enter that day’s drawing by 8:00PM EST that night and 50 random fans will be chosen the next morning from the previous day. Gifts include necklaces, bracelets, broaches and more.

The giveaway doesn’t stop there! On 12/8 Swarovski Elements will be hosting a sweepstakes with the top three prizes as product packages from their 2010 Holiday Collection. A new product image will appear once every business day untilDecember 14th and fans will be asked to tag, comment and/or like the image to be entered in the sweepstakes. The more they interact with the photo, the more they are entered into the sweepstakes. Three winners will be chosen at random the following week and prize packages include items from A7, BB Simon, Skagen Denmark, Ted Rossi and more.

Click here for details about the Holiday Collection.

Giveaway and sweepstakes are both done through the Swarovski Elements Facebook Page.

Most importantly, good luck!

Ally Hilfiger on StyleLikeU

Style Like U, one of my favorite fashion websites out there, just posted an interview and closet feature with Alexandria (Ally) Hilfiger, daughter of Tommy Hilfiger of course.

Designer, stylist, creative consultant and art director, Alexandria does it all! You cannot miss out on this Style Like U feature! Click here to watch the video.

“I wanted to be Alexandria; I didn’t want to be my father’s daughter. I love him… The stereotypes that are placed on you when you have a certain family or background are so harsh and most of the time untrue. I try to stay away from that.”

Sneak Peak: Reese Witherspoon on Glamour’s January Cover

Reese Witherspoon in Burberry Prorsum on the cover of the January issue of Glamour.

A sneak peak at the interview with Reese…

On how getting older makes her feel sexier…
“I think as a woman, you get older, you feel more confident in your sexuality. You’re not as intimidated by it, not as embarrassed by it. Sexuality and femininity is an accumulation of age and wisdom and comfort in your own skin. I feel better—so much better now than I ever did in my twenties. I am calmer; I know who I am. And as a result, I feel much sexier.”

On women in Hollywood…
“There’s always going to be somebody younger or sexier. That’s why I like to say, and it’s become my famous line, ‘Funny doesn’t sag.’”

On having more kids…
“I would love to have more kids. Kids are the best part of my day. I don’t wake up to make movies. I wake up to hang out with my family.”

On how her goals have changed since making Legally Blonde
“My ambition has sort of broadened. I’m more interested in literature, art, public policy. And I’m really interested in doing more philanthropic endeavors.”

On her life…
“I’m really, really lucky. I’ve got a lot of love in my life. I’ve got great friends. I have two great kids whom I make pancakes forevery Sunday. I’m very blessed.”

On making romantic comedies…
“I love romantic comedies. I watch them all the time. I love all my fellow female romantic comedy queens, like Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Garner and Katie Heigl. I also think that the questions romantic comedies ask about men and women are universal.”

Must Read Blog: Chicago Streetstyle Scene

From the hottest fashion events to spotting fashion in the streets, Amy Creyer of Chicago Streetstyle Scene has become one of my favorite resources for Chicago fashion. Her blog truly shows how stylish Chicagoans are. It’s very exciting to have someone (who is quite handy with the camera by the way) capture the most fashionable moments on the streets of the Windy City.

What I find to be the coolest part about Chicago Streestyle Scene is that you can browse by month, name, and even LOCATION. Amy has mapped out where each photo has been taken and you can see exactly who has been photographed in what areas. From Bucktown and Lincoln Park to River North and the West Loop, you will find some VERY stylish people on these streets of Chicago.

Some of my favorite Chicago Streetstyle Scene spottings…

Whether it’s a summer music festival or even in transit on the L…you never know where you’ll find Amy! Who knows? Maybe you will be featured on Chicago Streetstyle Scene soon…
