When it comes to things like branding and photography, they’re subjects I’m very interested in but I don’t necessarily excel at…so when someone does it really well, I can’t help but gush over them. And let’s just hope she’s not a Bridezilla. As of this past weekend, I’m officially no longer a bridesmaid virgin (and I realize that probably doesn’t sound right but you get the picture). Prior to this journey (dare I use the word journey, Anna Wintour?) I had been to three weddings in my adult life, and I still don’t totally know all the protocol. There seems to be so many rules when it comes to attending and being in a wedding, but who came up with them in the first place? Like how did we even get here? Let’s investigate.
It’s the one day of the year where everyone tries to be eco-friendly, where all the blogs are writing about sustainable fashion, and we’re all extra proud we’ve been recycling for so many years (if you didn’t know…it’s Earth Day). I’ve done the whole how to fashionably contribute to Earth Day types of posts in the past (although I’m still pretty proud of last year’s) but this year, I’m using Earth Day as an excuse to write about something I’m quite passionate about…although the passion is still pretty new for me. Can you guess what it is?
