Oh, food. You’re so magical. We love you when you’re green, organic and chia-blasted but when you’re fried, full of gluten or both then we hate you (well we love you at first and then we hate you). Is there a happy compromise? Perhaps the love / hate relationship can be a little more on the love side? Let’s find out.
Best Of Coachella
There are two types of people in this world [that don’t go to Coachella] — you’re either endlessly scrolling through your Instagram crying on the inside with an extreme case of FOMO or you think the event consists of a bunch of posers who don’t even care about the music and you prefer more intimate concerts anyway. Regardless, let’s see what everyone wore this year. Shall we?
What Why Where: So Fresh
I always love the idea of an all white outfit but I rarely go for it. Why? Although unofficially diagnosed, I do have a fear of stains. Yes I know they can come out (although an extra rainy Lollapalooza day 3 last year left me with perma-mud stains on my white culottes) but I do find them to be the ultimate buzzkill. I have to get over it though, and I did today. I’ve done all white once for summer, but now I’m giving it a go for spring…
Are You #Trending?
I have a love / hate relationship with regards to discussing trends. It’s sort of part of my job to share them but at the same time, I don’t want you to think for a second that you have to wear them. You never want to look overly trendy, but if there’s something that happens to be on trend that speaks to you, by all means GO FOR IT. So today, let’s find out what’s especially on trend now (including one I actually despise), if you’re actually going to wear these things and how you’re going to wear them. Ready?
Well Curated
Brad and Angelina. Jack and Lazaro. Avocado and toast. Fashion and food. These things just GO together. They’re meant to be, you know? If you feel me on that whole fashion and food thing then you’re going to like what you’re going to hear today.
