We’ve had a lot of fashion week chats lately so I thought I’d give you (and myself) a break from using words like Spring, adding on the number ’15 and others like “season,” “wearable,” and “genius.” We can all use a little humor when it’s almost the weekend, right? I’ve read a lot of stories in the last year or so about the perks and pros of dating a fashion girl, but it’s not all swag bags and free food…
In the words of Heidi Klum, “as you know in fashion, one day you‘re in and the next day, you‘re out.” Right now, London Fashion Week is out and Milan Fashion Week is in, but let’s give LFW some love (after all, it’s only been over for a day) and do a little recap. I hope you enjoyed the NYFW Spring 2015 version because now it’s time to discuss what the Brits are doing across the pond (and let me tell you…it’s some GOOD stuff).
Is it just me or have you noticed that many fashion news websites aren’t discussing all that much fashion news at all? I get that publications want to be more than just fashion, but do we need a critical review of the Tom Ford Spring ’15 collection and a story about how your birth control might fail all on the same home page? Maybe (his latest collection did involve decorative pasties, after all) but also maybe not…
