I have to admit, I’m doing a little cheating today. Considering I’m currently enjoying summer in Sydney (yes it’s summer somewhere) and this outfit can only [kind of] be appropriate for a Chicago winter. But I figured I’ll hold off on the beach photos for another week and do what I do best — stand in front of graffiti walls.

Before The Fall…
There’s Pre-Fall. It’s almost a teaser for the Fall season, but not really. It’s just Pre-Fall. Sometimes it’s totally underrated and others, it’s just like…why bother? Why do you love fashion? What do you think of trends? How do you define personal style?
Do you think when designers like Alexander McQueen, Karl Lagerfeld and Yves Saint Laurent answered these questions, they’d have such iconic answers? Although my responses of “Burn camo studded sneaker wedges” or “You’ll never find me in a bandage dress” or “We have to wear clothes everyday so why not have fun with it?” will never be as known as these fashion icons, I hope at least one person will remember them (besides my mom or my boyfriend).
Fashion People Doing Non Fashion Things
My interest in fashion people doing non fashion things started with this Proenza Schouler surfboard pictured here. Made in the print seen in [what I believe is] one of the greatest collections of all time (Proenza Spring 2010), this made me think…if Jack and Lazaro can make a surfboard, what can other designers make other than clothing and accessories? You may be surprised…
