What do you do when it’s one of the last warm days in Chicago and you know you won’t be showing your arms or legs for quite some time? Show those arms and legs!

What Why Where: Spring-ish
With yesterday being the first day of Spring (which in Chicago doesn’t mean much, it’s just a little less Winter…and that’s only if we’re lucky), I thought I’d try an unconventional look for the new season. A bit sporty, a little fancy and a whole lotta OMG I’M SHOWING SOME SKIN AND NOT TOTALLY FREEZING.
Back To Bassike
I’ve always found it kind of funny (also, slightly frustrating) that the most simple things in life are the most difficult to find. The ideal salad (that’s actually satisfying and filling…why can’t we have both?), a mascara that does what it says it will do (but wait, I just found that) and perfect basics. There’s a ton of companies out there who offer “the perfect basics” (t-shirts, jeans, sweaters, etc.) but the styles tend to be on the boring side. So, do basics have to be boring?
There must be something in the water down under because yet again, Australia brings us the answer — a not so basic, Bassike.
What Why Where: Winter Romper
After three WWW posts in summer gear (RIP) it’s back to boots and puffer coats for me…but I did happen to figure out a way to wear one of those warm weather pieces right now.
What Why Where: Bondi Boardwalk
So today’s my first day back in Chicago. Saying I’m jet lagged is an understatement. And looking at these pictures is making me question why I ever came back. BUT, on the bright side I still have exactly one week to try fried chicken pizza and I’m reunited with my guy (also this guy).
In the mean time, here’s a few photos taken along the Bondi Beach boardwalk, which has some really incredible street art (obviously, this one’s my favorite though #puglife).
