When it comes to a beauty routine (whether it be hair, face, body, etc.) I like to keep things as simple as possible. Of all regimens, though, I probably spend the least amount of time on my hair. There’s always just been a lot up there (a little less now that I’ve chop chopped) and it’s just too much to deal with. But I think I’ve finally figured out what products I need, which I don’t, and the right occasions to use them.

I thought about doing one of those “what’s in my bag?” posts then I realized it wouldn’t be that exciting. Why? (besides the fact that keys and lip balm probably don’t have you at the edge of your seat).
With bags getting smaller and smaller (remember, size matters) I’ve learned to carry only the absolute necessities. So I thought I’d combine two posts in one (because there’s only so much I can talk about pressed powder and hand lotion) for the ultimate bag edit.
Saving what everyone thinks of last…for last. It’s been a good run with this year’s holiday gift guides. Custom gifts, under $100 finds, fun and quirky presents and even the dreaded gift set, I hope you could find at least one thing to give this year (even if it’s for yourself!) from the CCF gift guides. But what would Christmas be without stockings, right? Good things come in small packages…so don’t skimp on the stocking stuffers this year.
Ah, the gift set. That thing everyone gives as an easy way out but the receiver is always stuck with maybe one thing they really like and all this other stuff they don’t need at all (or the entire set just sucks and in that case, it’s pretty much a waste of a gift…although we like to think it’s the thought that counts).
So today I wanted to take on the challenge of the gift set (whether it be in the beauty department, loungewear, and even some accessories) and find actually cool sets that you’ll be proud to give and your friends/family will love to receive.
With all the events that go on during the week, I take the weekends to just chill, cuddle with my dog, eat ridiculous amounts of food, and thanks to this new collaboration launching today…try out some beauty products.
