Odd title for a personal style post, right? It can go one of two ways — one is that my photog Dan found this weird alley in Bucktown that’s painted circus-themed so naturally we decided to take photos there, and two is that I too can be considered a freak show.
Whether it’s clothes, shoes, makeup and even interiors it’s rare to find someone with such impeccable taste in all categories. But I found her…and she is pretty awesome.
I feel like the last 3 of my What Why Where posts have been such a tease. I hope you realize that I don’t take these pictures the day I post them. They’re usually taken earlier in the week (when it tends to be warmer for some reason, which is a conclusion I’ve come to recently) and then by Friday (when I typically post) it’s freezing. So, I apologize for blogging schedules and unpredictable Chicago weather.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way…
You know those times you’re really excited to wear something then it ends up being totally inappropriate for the weather? Well that’s what happened to me wearing leather pants on a roof top…when it’s 80 degrees.
If I’m going to wear tropical pants paired with a tee that straight up says Kenzo Jungle, then I think it makes sense to go all out with a nature background…don’t you?
