It’s getting to be about that time again — summer vacation season. Although I think us Chicagoans might work a little differently (as we don’t suffer all winter just to LEAVE for the summer), I’m sure we’ll all get away at least for the weekend at some point over the next three months. Welcome To Miami
If you’ve ever been to Miami, you know it’s a city of a lot of things — European and Latin influence, a big art scene (hello Art Basel!), The Webster…and rhinestone jean pockets. This is something I just figured out for myself after traveling there for the first time this last week. So now that we have this new travel section here on CCF, let’s welcome ourselves to Miami (although as of last night, it’s more like “welcome to the movie Frozen“).
The 2014 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards
Last night, fashion’s finest celebrated the 11th annual CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Awards, where the winners of this year’s prizes were announced (with the grand prize being $300k to be used towards the winning designer’s business…not too shabby). And although it’s important to know who was the lucky recipient of this prize, we also need to know who wore what, as I haven’t done a red carpet post in a while and I think I’m overdue for one.
