What Blake shared with Glamour in her chat with Florence Welch:

Blake Lively on Twitter…
“People ask me why I don’t tweet. Honestly, I’m so sick of myself.”

Blake Lively on becoming the new face of Chanel’s Mademoiselle handbag…
“It’s such an honor. When I found out I got [the job], you and I went to dinner and concocted this plan, like two little girls at a tea party, saying, ‘Oh, it would be the best if we had a party. And you’ll perform, and we’ll do it in Paris.’ Like you and I were in charge of Chanel!”

Blake Lively on being her own stylist…
“I think I became my own stylist by not knowing any better. And once I was told it was time to get one, I thought: This is one of my favorite hobbies! And I’m going to pay someone to steal my hobby from me? That’s a terrible idea!”

Blake Lively on getting ready for an event…
“I like it to be easy. I don’t feel like I have to do so much with hair and makeup, because I’m the mannequin for these beautiful clothes, so I never want to do anything too distracting. Most of the time, I put my hair in a ballerina bun, and I take it down and it’s wavy, and then I leave. I feel shy when people are fussing on me. And my diet of choice before events is a chicken potpie from Tea & Sympathy, because they never have enough food at these things.”

Blake Lively on breakups…
“Every relationship you have, you’re learning and growing and taking something from that. So for me, it’s never been too dramatic of a thing when something ends.”

You’re sick of yourself, Blake? Really? Well I’m not sick of you. We still have a new season of Gossip Girl to look forward to 🙂

The July issue of Glamour will be available nationwide on June 7.

Olivia Wilde Covers The June Issue Of Glamour

The gorgeous Olivia Wilde is Glamour magazine’s latest cover girl. Photographed by Ben Watts, she graced the cover in an Enza Costa navy-and-white-striped T-shirt over an Eres Paris red bikini, a gold link Cartier bracelet and a Barbara D’Oro bangle.

Here’s a what Olivia Wilde shared with Glamour

On what she learned from her mother…
“She’s gorgeous, and she taught me that a real feminist doesn’t apologize for her beauty. You can be a sexy, beautiful woman and be the smartest person in the room.”

On growing up around movie stars…
“I remember Mick Jagger [talking] politics with my parents…. At 13 I came to L.A. for a press junket, and it was this magical land of palm trees and George Clooney. But [then] I saw George talking to my dad about politics, and I thought what makes these people special is that they’re not just actors…. I saw people being valued for their intelligence and their interests as opposed to their stardom. It was instilled in us that stardom is meaningless.”

On her relationship with ex-husband Tao Ruspoli…
“The mark of a good marriage is partnership and continuing to feel inspired by your spouse. I had that with Tao. But the end is not necessarily the tragedy. Staying in a relationship that is no longer working is the tragedy. Living unhappily—that’s the tragedy.”

“We got engaged at Burning Man and married on a school bus. We were not conventional.”

On dating again…
“I’m opening up my heart to the idea of dating. It’s funny—my friends would always come to me for romantic advice, [but] I know nothing, and things have changed since I was dating in high school! I’m really trying hard to spend this time working on myself.”

“I wish I could play the field. But it’s so not me. I go 100 percent into everything. And I’m a really good girlfriend.”

Glamour’s May 2011 Issue: Ashley Greene, Emma Stone & Freida Pinto

With a collective 14 movies coming out this year, Emma Stone, Ashley Greene and Freida Pinto are about to become the style world’s new obsessions.  Matthias Vriens-McGrath photographed Emma in Los Angeles, Ashley in Baton Rouge, LA and Freida in Paris for Glamour’s May 2011 cover.

Emma Stone on the best advice her mother’s ever given her…
“She is the greatest person on earth. She always helps me deal with things as they happen instead of planning them all out ahead of time. But that’s one of 600 billion pieces of advice she’s given me. “

Emma Stone on what she looks for in a guy…
“Honestly, I cannot put a finger on it. One guy could do something that I would find deplorable, and [with] another guy I’d find it charming…. It depends on the person. The one thing that needs to be there is that indefinable spark of sorts. But I’m 22 years old…. I have no idea what I’m talking about. [Laughs.]

Emma Stone on the pressure to be thin in Hollywood…
“You’re a human being, you live once and life is wonderful, so eat the damn red velvet cupcake.”

FREIDA PINTO

Freida Pinto on ethnicity in Hollywood…
“I think people are starting to become more color-blind in the industry. Of course, my Indian-ness cannot be ignored. At the same time, if I am being considered for a romantic comedy, I would like if [the script] didn’t try to inject as much ethnicity into the story as possible.”

Freida Pinto on filming in Tunisia when the uprising broke out….
“There was a civil war going on. People were burning down shops and malls; there was killing and bloodshed. I was stuck in this massive hotel with 354 rooms and only six guests. The lights kept shutting down, and there was a 5:00pm curfew. But I wasn’t there by myself: Dev [Patel, her Slumdog costar and current boyfriend] came down to see me. I was so glad I had company.”

Freida Pinto on relationships in Hollywood…
“When a doctor is performing an operation, his mind cannot be somewhere else. And it’s the same with actors. You have to commit yourself mind, body and soul to a project in order to do justice to it. And temptations are rife in this industry, which is why I think it’s important to know yourself before you try to deal with a relationship.”

Ashley Greene on her career post-Twilight…
“It is difficult because people look at you as that character. I want to play a role of a 24-year-old woman, not 17-year-old girls. So I have picked a couple of films like Butter to show that. And it’s perfectly fine not to do anything for a year if I don’t find the right thing.”

Ashley Greene on how it all started at a modeling convention in New York…
“I’m a big believer in “everything happens for a reason.” I’m not saying it wasn’t hard. I lived off Lean Cuisine and had no furniture and shared a bedroom with a girl for a year. I ran up my credit card. But every time I thought, I’m going to fail, something happened that kept me here.”

Ashley Greene on how she avoids the pitfalls of the Hollywood party scene…
“I keep to the ground rules. I’m not going to get drunk at a bar. There are younger girls who look up to me. So I do my best not to stray too far.”

Diane Kruger Graces the March cover of Glamour

A sneak peak at the March issue of Glamour magazine with cover girl Diane Kruger.

Photographed by Ellen Von Unwerth in New York City, Diane graces the cover in a Chanel jacket, Daryl K T-shirt, J Brand shorts and Chanel Fine Jewelry necklace.

Here’s a sneak peak at the editorial spread and exclusive interview…

Jacket, shirt, pants, Balmain; earrings, ring, Pomellato Tango Collection; scarf, Collection 18.

Blazer, Stella McCartney; bra top, Viktor & Rolf; pants, Theyskens’ Theory; earrings, necklace, Chanel Fine Jewelry; belt, Linea Pelle Collection; shoes, Christian Louboutin.

Jacket, shirt, pants, Balmain; earrings, ring, Pomellato Tango Collection; scarf, Collection 18.

Sweater, Isabel Marant; shirt, Band of Outsiders; skirt, Giambattista Valli;cuff, H.Stern; belt, H&M; shoes, Walter Steiger.

On her love of fashion…
“I truly, genuinely like clothes. Making them is an art form, and wearing them is a form of self-expression. I find it very emotional because I can remember moments in my life—my mood, how I felt—through these clothes.”

On what her favorite look is…
“A well-cut dress. It’s all about the cut. I love three-quarter sleeves. I definitely like it classic; less is more. The thing I despise most is vulgarity, and there’s a lot of that here [in L.A.].”

On her biggest fashion splurge…
“The biggest fashion purchase I ever made I thought about for six years. I’m not kidding. All my life I wanted to own an Hermès Constance bag, and when I signed with Calvin Klein, I decided this was the time that I could afford it. I truly broke a sweat when I paid for it.”

On her boyfriend Joshua Jackson and his style…
“We go shopping. But he likes it. I definitely wasn’t fond of these blue sneakers that he wore all the time for about a year and a half.”

On realizing she wanted to pursue performing as a career…
“I’m from a small village [in Germany], and it never occurred to me that you could actually make a living performing. It was a hobby. I always thought you had to live in Hollywood. So the urge really came later, when I became a model.”

On marrying and divorcing when she was younger…
“Without sounding pessimistic, I learned that I don’t believe in marriage. I believe in a commitment that you make in your heart. There’s no paper that will make you stay.”

Her advice to young women pursuing their dreams…
“Ask questions. Surround yourself with people who will help you advance. You should be smart enough to know that you don’t know everything. But you have to believe in yourself. I certainly do.”

Don’t forget to pick up the March issue of Glamour magazine. Available on newsstands and digitally (iPad, iPhone, iTouch and the Barnes & Noble Nook Color) February 8.

Kim Kardashian: Cover Girl for Glamour’s February Issue

I must start off by saying this…is there anything Kim Kardashian hasn’t done? She has her own clothing line, a collaboration with a clothing line, [had] a credit card, her own fragrance, makes appearances, covers magazines, and I’m sure one million other things I can’t think of. My question for you Kim is…what’s next?

That’s enough of that…let’s check out Kim on the cover of Glamour‘s February issue.

In Tom Ford pajamas, La Perla bra & Sarah Chloe ring

My favorites from the photo spread…

In a Marc Jacobs dress

In a Gucci jumpsuit & built with a La Perla bra

And now for what Kim has to say…

On her success…

“I’d be foolish not to take some of these opportunities that are coming my way. We all know this can go away at any moment.”

On her sisters…
“We work really hard, and we fight like normal sisters fight, and we make up. We’re so supportive of each other. We always stick together. Having lots of siblings is like having built-in best friends.”

On dating…
“It’s easier to just be single and not have a relationship. How do you get to know someone on a reality show? Some people think that they can handle it, and then they really can’t.”

On being a sex symbol…
“It’s definitely powerful. I don’t find myself as sexy as everyone thinks. I’m a lot more insecure than people would assume, but with little stupid things. When I get dressed, I’m always so indecisive.”

On being in Playboy
“It was an independence thing for me. I was always by the book, such the straight arrow when it came to pleasing my parents and being a good daughter. I felt like this was one decision that only I could make. And I think it looks great. I’ll have those pictures forever.”

On having every aspect of her family’s life recorded…
“If there’s something that we’re going through, it’s going to get out anyway. It’ll be on the cover of a tabloid, and it’ll be twisted the completely wrong way. So why not tell our story?”

On women being comfortable with their body…
“It’s a process. You have to learn to accept it. You have to learn to like what you see in the mirror. There are definitely times when I don’t feel like myself, but you have to fake it until you make it.”

On what she thought she’d be doing at 30…
“If you had asked me five years ago what I would be doing at 30, I would have said, ‘Married with a kid or two.’ Not in a million years did I dream that I would be doing all the things that I’m doing.”

The February issue of Glamour will be available on newsstands nationwide January 11.
