We’ve discussed various aspects of social media a few times here on CCF — whether it’s selfies or our “social mask” (AKA Instagram vs. real life), there’s a lot to talk about in this category. Now with Snapchat being a thing, there’s EVEN MORE TO TALK ABOUT. So let’s just get to it.

Ah, social media. We love it. We hate it. We’re addicted to it. Regardless, we’re all on it (except Kate Moss…apparently she doesn’t need Instagram). How do you decide what to post, though? Are you voicing your political opinion on Facebook? (if yes, then please stop). Do you even Tweet anything on Twitter or is it your lazy way of getting the news? (guilty as charged…but I still Tweet). Do you go to brunch just so you can post an Instagram of your chia seed pudding and avocado toast? Let’s dig a little deeper.
Real Life Instagram Filters
How many minutes (or even hours) do we spend per year trying to find the perfect Instagram filter? I don’t have the answer…but I’m sure it’s longer than we’d like to admit. Why waste all that time when you can spend it doing productive things like making reservations on OpenTable and watching TMZ? I understand we all want to look good in photos, but a faux filter may not always be the answer…
