Varsity jackets have been making somewhat of a revival the last few years. This is something I personally enjoy because it makes me a little nostalgic. One, because I remember my parents having them (similar to this but with black sleeves) and two, sports weren’t really my thing so I never actually got to own a real varsity jacket. Instead, I got to wear a super uncomfortable cheerleading uniform with orthopedic-looking gym shoes…and those, my friends, were great times.
So getting back on track…

Now that fashion month is officially over, it’s time to review the runways and see what we’ll be wearing this coming Fall. I realize it’s barely Spring but this is how fashion works. Just like heeled running shoes, it makes perfect sense.
And because it’s always fun to be ahead of the trends, I found some pieces you can wear this Spring that are still perfectly on trend for Fall ’13. Here it goes…

18 degrees? No problem. Let me just throw on some thin gloves and a lightweight coat. And of course it makes sense to wear lots of metal in these temperatures. Yeah, this sounds about right.
